Product Overview

The T7 In Vitro Transcription Kit has been optimized for efficient transcription reactions. Using T7 RNA Polymerase, this kit facilitates in vitro transcription from linear double-stranded DNA templates containing a T7 promoter sequence, with NTPs serving as substrates. This enables users to quickly and easily obtain large quantities of RNA products.

The kit also supports the use of modified nucleotides as substrates, allowing the production of RNA labeled with biotin, dyes, or radioactive markers. Additionally, it can produce capped RNA using cap structures or cap analogs as substrates. The included modified nucleotide, pUTP, provides flexibility for specific transcription needs.

Each reaction can yield 150–200 μg of RNA, with scalability for milligram-level RNA production. The synthesized RNA is suitable for various applications, including RNA structure and function studies, RNase protection assays, probe hybridization, antisense RNA, and RNAi research. Furthermore, the kit allows for mRNA production with downstream modifications such as capping via the vaccinia capping system (HBP000606), 2’-O-methyltransferase (HBP000701), and Poly(A) tailing using Poly(A) Polymerase (HBP000801). These modifications enable mRNA applications in in vitro translation, transfection, and other experimental workflows.
